On the Topic of Fatherly Advice…

What did your father teach you?

In honor of our Facebook question, we decided to think a bit more about fatherly advice. Since you’re inspired, go ahead and answer our question: What’s the best advice your father ever gave you?

Some fatherly advice from LONDONS Bathecary

  • Do things the hard way sometimes—it’s good practice for when you don’t have a choice.
  • Some bullies will respect you if you stand up to them; others should be avoided altogether.
  • You can turn a loss into a win by learning something from it.
  • Life is short, so enjoy it.
  • Don’t lose track of your old friends. It’s important for people to know where you came from.
  • Your word is your bond.
  • The harder you work for something, the more you’ll appreciate it.
  • Never say that you can’t do something until you’ve spent some time practicing it.
  • When you’re afraid of something, admit it—at least to yourself.
  • Tip well. If you’re going to be returning to that restaurant, tip even better.
  • Turn off the lights when you leave the room.
